Captain's Log
Guitarrr is a collection of some arrangements and original compositions I made for the classical guitar. My focus in my music studies was on counterpoint, and I've always been drawn to the challenge of arranging polyphonic or multi-layered songs for the guitar.
When I was thinking of a domain name for this website, guitar.com was taken, and so was guitarr.com... so naturally I chose guitarrr.com. Then with "ARRR" in the title the pirate theme was basically inevitable. If you make an online recording of yourself playing one of these arrangements, share it with me and I'll put a link on the "Crow's Nest" page. Bonus points if you dress up like a pirate for the video!
I hope you enjoy learning these pieces as much as I enjoyed arranging them.
